Linda HjelleAs our Assessor, Linda has prioritized transparency, cost-savings, and modernizing our office to best serve Snohomish County residents.

While serving as Assessor, Linda has been an unwavering advocate for Snohomish County residents, testifying in Olympia on our behalf and leading statewide efforts on best practices.

Linda previously served as Chief Deputy Assessor and was instrumental in implementing cost-saving techniques and efficiency reviews, utilizing the latest developments in technology to improve accuracy and better serve residents.

A dedicated community leader, Linda volunteers her time outside of the Assessor’s Office with Soroptimists, League of Women Voters, Fire District 17 Christmas House, National Women's Political Caucus, and the Granville Grange.

A life-long Washingtonian, Linda lives outside Granite Falls with her husband, Rick, a retired Snohomish County career firefighter. They have one grown son.
